Changing the Chutney Game One Kitchen At A Time

When Nirmala first started making traditional Indian chutneys in her kitchen over 50 years ago, it was nothing more than a mom cooking dinner for her family. Purely a labor of love, these sweet, savory, and spicy delicacies were added to virtually any dish to instantly transform basic to beyond. Family members, particularly her entrepreneurial daughter Mona, caught wind that Nirmala was doing something different and encouraged her to think beyond her own four walls. Thus, Bombay Chutney Co. was born.

Family-owned and operated from inception, Bombay Chutney Co. believes that food is love. Our original intention was to bring life-changing chutneys to the masses; while we still do that, we’ve since expanded to also offer a wide array of fresh-to-frozen Indian foods, basmati rice, gourmet curries and delicacies, and a selection of curated ayurvedic spices.

Our hearts are committed to quality. Although chutney and Indian food originally come from South Asia, Bombay Chutney Co. wants to show the world that these savory specialties are for everyone. The majority of our foods are vegan, gluten-free, and have just a kick (okay, maybe more) of spice! Made from locally-sourced, all-natural, organic products, Bombay Chutney Co. foods are as good for your body as they are for your tastebuds. We are proud to be a women-run business that operates across the Continental United States. With our ever-expanding lines of traditional Indian chutneys, full meals, spreads, snacks, and even soups, Bombay Chutney Co. is ready to bring the flavor of India to a kitchen near you.
